How to Add Components to Your UST System
Adding components to a UST system in PASS Harmonics ensures the system is accurately documented, meets regulatory requirements, and stays on schedule for inspections and testing. Complete component data improves consistency across teams, helps identify compliance gaps, supports accurate reporting, and allows better tracking of equipment lifecycle and maintenance needs.
In short, adding components is essential for maintaining compliance and effective UST system management. Below, we'll walk you through step-by-step adding these components to the PASS System. There are three components that you can add are the Fill/Vapor Recovery Port Spill Buckets, STP's (Submersible Turbine Pump), and Sumps.
Step 1.
Once you login to your account, go to Facilities and select the Facility you need to add equipment to.

Step 2.
Select the Facility you need from the list.

Step 3.
In the Lower Navigation bar, click on Equipment.

Step 4.
In our system, you can only add a component to the UST itself. Select the UST (Underground Storage Tank) that you need to add a component to. If you have a dual point delivery system, you will need to add a second Spill Bucket/Vapor Recovery as our system will only add one Fill/Coaxial to the equipment automatically.

Step 5.
Click the Green "Add a New Component" button.

Step 6.
Click the Drop-Down Menu under the Component Type, and select the type of component you need to add. You can choose between Fill/Vapor Recovery Spill Buckets, STP (Submersible Turbine Pump), or any different Sumps (additional STP or transition sumps) your facility may have.

Step 7.
Fill out the Name for Component Type, and at this portion you can add notes if needed. Then click the "Create Component" button.

Step 8.
Once you create the component, you'll need to go to the Summary View, and answer all drop-down questions to complete setting it up. These questions are required and should be answered specifically for the equipment.

For the Spill Bucket Type/Manufacturer you will need to click the drop-down menu to select the Manufacturer.

Once you have filled out the appropriate settings for the component, scroll back up to the top of the page, and click "Back to Equipment Overview". Our system will save the information.
